M. Scott Tashjy is a partner and devotes his practice to all areas of the workers’ compensation, retirement disability, social security disability and work related personal injury issues. Mr. Tashjy represents employees injured during their employment (as well as surviving members of employees killed in work-related catastrophic accidents). His practice involves successful representation of a wide range of employee groups including union members, as well as state, county and local law enforcement employees. Mr. Tashjy is also a frequent lecturer on employment, workers’ compensation, social security and retirement disability issues, as well as on issues relating to employer responsibilities. He authors a client newsletter, The Workers Edge, providing information to clients and their families about these issues. Mr. Tashjy is a 1982 graduate of Susquehanna University. He received his legal degree in 1986 from Nova University School of Law and Rutgers-Newark School of Law. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Florida. Mr. Tashjy is a member of the Monmouth County, Ocean County, New Jersey and Florida Bar Associations. He is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Tashjy has sat on the Executive Board of the New Jersey Advisory Counsel on Health and Safety, and currently advises the Ocean County and Monmouth County Workers Compensation Sections.
